Domestic
For domestic orders shipping and handling will be computed at checkout. Minimum is $4.50 per order. For orders over $50 but less than $100, shipping will be billed at $6.50. Shipping is by either US Priority mail or UPS and usually takes 2 to 4 days. UPS Next Day or UPS 2 day will be billed at our cost, and we require a phone call. Call us at 641-472-5105 or 800 593-2665 so we can tell you when you will receive your order and how much the shipping will cost. Shipping is free for orders over $100 on books listed on our site.
Canadian
Canadian orders are shipped via Global Air. For orders that total up to $35 we charge $8.00. For orders over $35 our shipping charges will be computed at 20% of the value of the books purchased. Books shipped in this manner generally take 3 to 5 business days to arrive, so you should allow about a week.
International
For International orders outside of Canada we ship by Global Priority and our minimum shipping charge is $10.00. For purchases over $36 shipping charges will be computed at 25% of the total value of the books purchased.
- We are pleased to fill orders for any and all books not listed on our website. Our price will be 20% off list price for hardcover, and 10% off list price for paperbacks. Free shipping on orders over $100 as described above. Priority shipping at our cost, but you must call us.
- Fairfield residents who open an in store account may order books at prices and terms that are competitive with the prices charged by Amazon according to the policy displayed at the store.
- We will negotiate special prices for corporate orders or holiday giving of large quantities of one or more titles.
- As your neighborhood bookstore on the web we are always available to serve you, and we want to work with you to provide you with great books at reasonable prices.
